Play Time (~25-28 minutes)
WHOLE CLASS GAMES:
GAME 1 - Guess it(15 min)
1. Split the class into row-wise groups.
2. Ask each team to send a representative 1 by 1 for each round.
3. Round 1 (5 min): Whisper a word into the representative's ear. They describe the word without saying the word. Team guesses. Repeat for all teams.
4. Round 2 (5 min): Whisper a word into the representative's ear. They give a one word clue to their team to guess it. Repeat for all teams.
5. Round 3 (5 min): Whisper a word into the representative's ear. They describe the word by acting and not speaking. Team guesses. Repeat for all teams.
6. Teams get 1 point per correct guess. Keep score on the board.
GAME 2 - Silent Line-up (7 min)
1. Continue with the same row-wise groups.
2. Tell the groups that they need to stand in a line based on conditions you give.
3. Give them the condition - Stand in a line by birthday order (January to December).
4. Rule: no speaking at all. Only gestures and mime.
5. The first group to do this gets 1 point.
6. Then try again with a different condition: Alphabetical order.
IF CHILDREN PREFER SMALLER GROUPS, use these instead:
OPTION A - Story Volleyball (10 min)
1. Make groups of 4-5.
2. Go around the circle. Each person adds ONE sentence to a group story. No planning ahead.
3. The story must stay connected. If someone breaks the logic, a new story starts.
OPTION B - Category Countdown (10 min)
1. Make 2 teams. You call a category.
2. Teams name things in that category one by one. No repeating. No blanking.
3. The team that repeats or blanks out loses the round.
4. Possible categories: animals with 4 legs, things in a kitchen, sports, things that are red, jobs.
5. Play 4-5 rounds.
STEP IN WHEN NEEDED:
1. Guess it scoring disputes - What do both teams agree on? - Make a quick call and move on.
2. Silence breaks in Silent Line-up - reset the attempt.
What You May Notice
1. Some children will find mimicry in Guess it hilarious and get very creative. Let them.
2. Teams negotiate strategies loudly. That is healthy engagement.
3. Older children sometimes feel too old for games. Challenge and competition usually bring them in.

Closing (~3-5 minutes)
1. Tally scores on the board. Teams shake hands.
2. Ask - What was the hardest moment in any game today? - Take 2-3 honest answers.
3. End with a countdown clap: 3-2-1-BOOM! and fist bump everyone.
Try Next Time
1. Guess It using subject-specific vocabulary from a school topic.
2. Teams design their own 5-minute game and run it for the class.
3. Silent Order with increasingly absurd categories: number of mango leaves visible from the school window.
