In this energetic game, students combine note-reading skills with quick movement to hit targets on a music scale.

Instructions:

1. There will be a scale set on the ground or chalkboard without the notes in between.

2. A timer will be set for 7 seconds.

3. The instructor will tell the students which note to run/point to.

4. If a student reaches the right note on time, they get a point

5. If they do not, they lose a point.

6. The first player to get to fifteen points wins.

Variations & tips:

1. Instead of naming individual notes, call out intervals (e.g., "a perfect fifth above C") and have students run to the correct note. This approach reinforces understanding of musical relationships.
