Instructions:
1. Copy/Draw a sudoku board.
2. The point of the sudoku is to fill in all the BLANK squares.
3. There are a few important rules:
a. In every diagonal, horizontal and vertical line the numbers must be
different (EG; in the first column you can't have a 1,2,4, and 4. You
must have a 1,2,3,4. But in any order)
b. The sudoku puzzle is divided into four big squares, each holding 4
small squares in them. Each big square must have a 1, 2, 3 and 4
inside of it.
Variations & tips:
1. Use color-coding or symbols (🟦🟥🟩🟨) instead of numbers for students still learning digits.
2.Give each number a character or theme (e.g., 1 = wizard, 2 = dragon, 3 = knight, 4 = princess). Students create a mini story using the final board once completed.
3. Play soft background music. When the music stops, students rotate to a new Sudoku board and continue where another left off.
