Instructions:
1. When you draw a "Ken Ken" grid, the only numbers you may write are 1, 2, and 3.
2. No numbers may appear more than once in any row or column. (in other words, all required numbers must appear in every row and column).
3. Each "cage" (a region with a heavy border) contains a "target number."
4. If there's more than one blank square in the cage, the target number is also accompanied by an addition or subtraction sign.
5. You must fill that cage with numbers that produce the target number, using only the specified operation.
6. Numbers may be repeated within a cage, if necessary, as long as they do not repeat within a single row or column.
7. In a one-cell cage, just write the target number in that cell.
Variations & tips:
1. Add times (×) or divide (÷) in the math problems.
2. Use a timer to make it a fun race.
