Tin Can Squash
Description
An energetic outdoor game where players try to kick a guarded can without being caught.

Instructions:
1. Place a tin can in an open outdoor area to serve as the center point.
2. Choose one player to be the seeker (or guard) and have everyone else hide.
3. The seeker closes their eyes and counts to a set number while others scatter.
4. The seeker then searches for players while guarding the can.
5. If the seeker spots someone, they call their name and race to tag them before the can is kicked.
6. If a hider kicks the can, all captured players are freed, and the seeker must reset the can before continuing.
7.The game ends when all players are caught or the can is kicked several times successfully.
Variations & tips:
1. Add multiple cans for larger groups or wider play areas.
2. Play in the dark with flashlights for a thrilling nighttime version.
3. Mark a “safe zone” players can reach instead of kicking the can.
4. Use a soft ball instead of a can for younger children.
5. Add team roles—guards and kickers—to encourage strategy and cooperation.
