Instructions:
1. This game may be played in a large group, smaller groups, or in partners.
2. One student must start the game by saying the name of a country (for example, India).
3. If students are playing a group, then it becomes the person to the right of the first student's turn. S/he must state the name of a country that starts with the last letter of the first country (if the first country was India, then the second could be America since India ends in an "A"). If students are playing in partners, then they may go back and forth with countries.
4. The game ends when the students cannot think of any more countries.
Variations & tips:
1. Include a challenge where students must also say one fact about the country they name.
2. Use a map or globe and have students point to the country they mention for geography practice.
3.Play with categories like cities, animals, or foods instead of countries to mix things up.
