Instructions:
1. Form shape with bodies:
● Ask students to make different shapes like circle, square, triangle and then group them together.
● Triangle can be for groups of three, square for groups of 4 and circle for groups of as many students.
b. Groups based on preferences (e.g. fruits/flowers):
● Ask students their preference of fruits/ flowers or anything else and group students with the same or different choices.
c. Groups based on numbering, days of week/month:
● Ask students to say names of the days in a week or name of months.
● Accordingly, make groups of students who said the same name of the days or months.
● Similarly, students can be grouped according to their birthday months, counting numbers etc.
Variations & tips:
1. Instead of geometric shapes, try forming letters or symbols for a fun twist.
2. Give each student a card with a number/shape/month/animal and have them find their group without speaking.
