Instructions:
1. Give each student one of the paper cards and a marker/pencil, and instruct them each to draw a simple picture.
2. Collect all of the paper cards, and divide the students into teams of five. Randomly assign a few of the paper cards to each team.
3. Using the drawings that their classmates created as inspiration, instruct the students to make up an English story. The older students can think of each drawing as an important plot point in the story.
4. Stories can be shared to the full class at the end of the game.
Variations & tips:
1. Add a “mystery picture” twist, where one drawing from another group must be secretly added into their story.
2. Turn it into a performance, where each team acts out their story instead of just telling it.
3. Create a “story switch” round, where halfway through, each team swaps drawings with another team and must continue the story.
