Instructions:
1. Get five pieces of green, red, yellow and blue paper.
2. Once you have the 20 pieces of paper, write 10 different numbers on each of them so you repeat each number twice in total.
3. Lay the pieces of paper out by colour; all the yellow in one row, then all the
blue in another.
4. Tape the pieces of paper to the ground. Now you can play the game.
5. The game is played with two players and a game leader
6. Game leaders say aloud an equation and body part (e.g., left arm, 3+2)
7.Here is a list of some equations:
a. 7
i. 13-6
ii. 5+2
b. 8
i. 10-2
ii. 4+4
c. 4
i. 7-3
ii. 3+1
8. Both players try to put the correct body part on the correct dot (e.g., left arm, as in the game Twister.
9. These steps keep repeating until a player falls or touches the mat with the wrong body part. If both players go for the same dot, then the leader has the final say on who got there first.
Variations & tips:
1. Use easier or harder equations depending on the age group (e.g., add multiplication or word problems for advanced learners).
2.Use printed cards or visuals for students with hearing difficulties or in noise-sensitive settings.
